About BPP University

The BPP University is a private academic and professional university located in London, UK. It was established in 1992 and formerly was the BPP College of Professional Studies. It is one of the leading private universities in London that focus on providing industry-relevant professional courses. The BPP University has several campus sites in City centres across the UK, most of them in London. BPP University specialises in law, business, finance, accountancy, banking, technology, chiropractic, dentistry, nursing, psychology and healthcare.

BPP is different from most other universities as it focuses more on professional development with industry training. The University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and short courses. They provide quality education under expert teaching faculty, professional exposure and practical training within the industry. The University provides four main types of courses: University Degrees, Apprenticeships, Professional Qualifications and Professional Development Courses. The University is popular for its business, law and health courses.

BPP University has four major faculties. The School of Health and School of Nursing offer courses in Healthcare, Nursing, Dentistry, Psychology and Chiropractic. The School of Law offers degrees in law and criminology. The School of Business and Technology offer the disciplines of business, accounting, banking, finance and technology courses including Data Science, Cyber Security, Network Engineering, Software Development, etc. The University caters to approximately 15000 students. The university bagged the 2010 Education Investor award for ‘Post-16 Education Provider of the Year’ as well as Education Investor magazine’s award for ‘Higher/Professional Education Provider of the Year 2013’

Campus and facilities at BPP University

The BPP University has four schools spread over 8 different locations across the UK. London is their main campus site. Other campuses are located at Bristol, Birmingham, Abingdon, Liverpool, Cambridge, Leeds and Manchester.

The School of Law is located at two places in London: Southbank at Waterloo and Holborn; and also in Bristol Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Cambridge. The schools of Business and Technology is located at Shepherd’s Bush in London and at other sites. The campuses have classrooms equipped with updated AV technology, libraries with quiet study zones, free campus Wi-Fi, student lounges, lecture theatres, mock courtrooms, cafeterias, etc.  All the campuses are located at city centres so students have easy access to all the amenities of city life.

Sports Facilities

BPP University has various sports clubs that students can join. The most popular ones are cricket, badminton, football, tennis, rugby, netball, etc.  Students can participate in social or competitive sports.

Students’ Union and Student Life

The BPP Students’ Association helps all its member students with any enquiries or assistance they require, such as study support, accommodation, joining events and festivals, etc. The Association represents students at the university level. They conduct all-year events and help students join several clubs and societies.
