Ireland is a beautiful island to the west of England, where modern cities coexist harmoniously with unspoiled countryside; where contemporary architecture and lush landscapes can be experienced and enjoyed almost at the same time. Ireland has a very high literacy rate of 99%. The people are known for their fun-loving and festive ways, with St. Patrick’s Day, or St. Paddy’s day being one of the biggest and most boisterous celebrations. The Irish favor the green color, and have many interesting, though harmless superstitions – one of them being that a four-leaf clover brings good luck. Their universities and colleges offer exceptional education, with degrees recognized everywhere in the world.
